On the river, Bill is a no-nonsense guy. I like his straight forwardness. He had no qualms about telling me that my cast wasn’t getting to the places where the fish were hanging out. He was a master oarsman getting us through some good class three rapids. Although the fish were pretty quiet this day, we enjoyed a Colorado blue-bird day and topped it off with a glass of wine with Bill and his wife at their charming home.
