You never know who you are going to run into on a fishing trip. These folks were getting ready to take off on a guided boat trip on the same day I was on a drift trip. We easily flowed into one of those conversations that make you feel as if you’ve known someone since grade school. What I find so intriguing is that this happens all the time on the river. It’s one of the reasons I love fly-fishing so much – the people who you find on the rivers are a special breed.
