The people who live in Dutch John, Utah feel as if they live with a postcard view at all times. They take a pride in their community and appreciate the beauty of the area.
The Flaming Gorge Resort is a wonderful place to stay if you want to head up to the eastern side of Utah to raft, fish, hike or just enjoy the views. This is my second visit here. I have eaten at their cafe and enjoyed wonderful homemade soups, breakfast burritos and an excellent taco salad.
Many thanks to the folks at the resort who let me park my camper here for the three days I spent on the Green River.
